Why

Why, Why do the good die young
And most heroes go unsung
Where justice and liberty prevail
A life passes on too young and frail
Red and blue stop by the field
Where daddy's girl has fate revealed
Mothers stares through window shown
With her daughters fate unquestioned and unknown
Telephone rings a tale surreal, but true
In a day death must rue
Black and crimson on her body staining
Only love and memories remaining
All the promise and hope of a life is stole
Bitterly buried in a hole
Three remain broken, but saved
Forever haunted by that unjust grave
